ABOUT

Linda Yaven ("Elle") is a Certified Coach mentoring high achieving business people on the inner/outer path of leadership for outstanding personal, professional, posperity outcomes. She has coached clients at The World Bank, Gannett Publishing, Swisscom, Pixar Animation Studios and Capgemini among others.

Her original step-by-step signature system for groups - and the diverse individuals on them - links design thinking to self-development.

With a background as a practicing studio artist she brings an insider's view to creativity and has a unique capacity to guide people to "develop personal vision and then the strategies and tactics to bring internal and external world into stronger congruence".

Elle is a systems thinker; her work has been called "soul catalyzing and super practical" for its ability to inspire well being and surefire concrete results simultaneously.

She is Associate Professor and a founding faculty member in Design Strategy MBA and The Executive Certificate Leading by Design Fellows Program at California College of the Arts teaching Live Exchange ("LiveE") a communication course on authentic, effective, innovative collaboration.

Elle has guest lectured on creative and collaborative intelligence at Harvard University, Innovation Immersion for Fortune 500, The Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, AIGA, Mills College, Arizona State University and The Creative Problem Solving Institute, among others.

Inspired by a 1999 visit to Reggio Children, a school system in Italy, she has led programs on "Making Thinking Visible" and has served as Advisor/Documenter for The Making Learning Visible Institute at Harvard University and has been a consultant for the education branch of The Department of Defense.

She leads Visual Thinking Strategies inspired programs for business groups based on the Harvard Medical School's successful adaptation of VTS.

Elle has been a meditation practitioner for over twenty five years and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where it is perfectly okay to call yourself a Communication Evangelist and Evocateur
