Linda Yaven is a Design Thinking Catalyst and Coach. Her work integrates emotional, visual and collaborative intelligences with cognitive skill sets through assessment and coaching programs. Inspired by the educational model of Reggio Emilia, Italy she leads programs on Making Thinking Visible to optimize team performance.
She is Associate Professor in the groundbreaking MBA Design Strategy Program, at California College of the Arts in San Francisco teaching Live Exchange and, with Nathan Shedroff, Experience Design as well as Entrepreneurship, Ethics and Intellectual Property in the Graduate Design Program.
As a professional speaker on team transformation through shared visual mediums she has presented at Harvard, AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Artists), The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, The Creative Problem Solving Institute, Innovation Immersion for Fortune 500 and The Home Schooling Network among others.
In 2003 - 4 Linda consulted to the education branch of The Department of Defense on Creative Thinking and Team Assessment.
Linda served as Advisor/Documenter to the Making Learning Visible Institute at Harvard and is currently completing a one hour media project “Teach Us Something in 7 Minutes”.
